Translucence Morgan’s last project for Kitty Enterprises was music for an ambient video by Tadayoshi Arai, featuring ultra slow-moving images of nature, beautifully processed through computer technology. The video was shown on multiple screens during Morgan’s surround-sound concerts at Expo 90 in Osaka, and received wide praise for the way it expressed, through high-tech images and music, the ancient Japanese philosophical quality known as “ma” - emptiness. Another example of how Morgan’s music has been deeply affected by his years in Japan.
